living
Finds fullest expression in dying to
self.
The greatest form of abundant life
is found in chosen poverty,
not sought after wealth.
To take on the form of a servant
Will make you a mighty king.
To hold your tongue in silence
will cause your heart to sing.
Owe no man anything
but to love one another.
In this be indebted to every soul you meet.
For you will find the noblest life
When you wash each other's feet.
Through Christ's Spirit we have the power
to lay down our lives
and take them up again.
The right to love as Jesus did.
To be mankind's best friend.
But if we seek our lower life
and walking our own way,
we'll lose even what we have.
We'll throw it all away.
We owe each other love, you see.
It's Christ's command and our responsibility.
Stop demanding what man owes to you.
Stop expecting only for yourself.
Seek first your fellow man's well being.
And then you'll find true wealth.
