If living life in
holiness
Requires great scrutiny
And consecrated
discipline,
Then circumspect I'll
be.
He's paid
the price of righteousness.
I'll make a solemn vow,
And live a life in heaven's
best,
Forever starting now.
I'll
sacrifice the meager life,
Abandon my own way,
And cleave to that abundant
life,
And thus proclaim the
Day.
The Day of
Jesus Christ the Lord,
Our Savior and our King,
And in my every waking
hour,
His praises I will sing.
I know there
is a Hell to shun,
Now and eternally,
The hell on earth is bad
enough,
So holy now I'll be.
I'll cast
out fear and doubt and shame,
For all these plagues must
flee.
Through abiding in His Holy
Word,
This man will be made
free.
Free to
laugh to shout to sing,
Free to pray my praises
ring.
Free to know without a
doubt
What Christ in me is all
about.
And I as He
brings confidence,
His love in me is my
defense,
When He shall come in heaven's
light,
With all His power and awesome
might.
And then
I'll rise up high above
On Shekinah wings of the Holy
Dove.
And in the golden Heaven
dwell
For I chose holiness instead of Hell.
